Overview of business area or project:

RipJar is the chosen solution for enhanced negative new screening proof of concept (PoC) to be run in APAC for SGP and HK to close off an MAS audit point. This project will seek to install RipJar’s Labyrinth platform, test for fitness for purpose across various languages, assess data quality and then run a 3 month pilot phase to test the tool in a “real world” setting. Based on the results of the PoC the tool will be rolled out the all markets globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure appropriate decision making via robust project governance forums
• Ensure regular reporting or status, risks, issues to all stakeholders
• Ensure when appropriate matters are escalated quickly and accurately
• Manage the testing phase in APAC markets
• Manage the rollout to APAC user to commence the PoC on schedule
• Gather data and metrics to assist in the decision making process at conclusion of PoC
• Work with Global counterparts to ensure APAC requirements are met by the tool
• Ensure tool screens accurately for all in-scope APAC languages

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualification of a college or higher education in Technology/Business/Economics
• Project management experience >5yrs, preferably in a technology focused role within the compliance space
• Project Management qualification (PMP/PRINCE) advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of the banking industry and regulatory environment in Asia and abroad 
• Track record in delivering projects
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change
• Passion for team work, execution excellence, digital space and process efficiency 
• Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure 
• Analytical and confident personality with excellent relationship skills in order to interact with various departments and various seniority levels
