BANK NETWORK SECURITY OFFICER (IT)

Responsibilities:

  • To implement, manage and ensure the effectiveness of network security and cybersecurity controls.
  • Ensure the security controls are complied with the Bank and regulatory requirement.
  • To establish and review network security and cybersecurity related policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with Head of Department and/or the Senior Management for the alignment of network security and cybersecurity strategy direction and initiatives.
  • Increase the Bank’s cross functional capability to manage security by establishing and embedding cultural and behavioral goals that relating to network security and cybersecurity.
  • To perform, coordinate and review network security relevant assessment and network security self-attestation program.
  • To provide network security and cybersecurity related awareness training.
  • To prepare and provide required statistical and reports for internal and external party.
  • Be primary responsible in managing compliance risk inherent in the day-to-day activities, processes and systems for which it is accountable.
  • To undertake ad hoc tasks as and when required by the Head of Department and/or the Senior Management.

 

Requirements:

  • Recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred.
  • CISA/CISSP or related certificate.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Prior working experience in the banking sector will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge and interest in computer systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills to handle stakeholders across multiple departments.
