ASSISTANT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER, BANKING (CONTRACT)

Job Responsibilities:

Account Managers will support the Regional Relationship Managers on various topics including:

Client meeting / sales prep:

• Prepare client presentations
• Support RFP responses
• Coordinate conflict clearing for private deals
• Arrange onshore client meetings for overseas Client Sales Team visitors
• Prepare client briefing notes and internal updates/analyses

Post-sales and escalated KYC reviews:
• Coordinate and ensure completion of New Client Adoptions
• Coordinate KYC PR for select, multi-group entities (escalated from Outreach team)
• Collect KYC PR documents (escalated from Outreach team)
• Collect other documents required by regulation (e.g. expired IDs)
• Prepare BRC/BRG materials for review of high-risk deals
• Coordinate & prepare information required for covenant testing
• Support credit reviews e.g. CAF documentation, regulatory-driven local credit extension documentation

Client queries and complaints:
• Respond, investigate and resolve escalated client queries e.g. cash payments/receipts where account is in excess, transactions may be stuck, potential incorrect FX rates etc
• Ensure client complaints are logged and followed up by the relevant stakeholders
• Prepare, in coordination with relevant stakeholders, client reference letters, solvency certificates, credit information reports, good standing certificates

Experience / Requirements:
 

  • 1-3 years of corporate banking or relationship management support experience
  • Good communication and client service skills
  • Ability to engage at all levels (internal & external)
  • Strong sense of client/business acumen
  • Organized - able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Can work independently and in a team
  • Willingness to learn new systems & processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications preferred
  • Banking and product knowledge 
  • Client Onboarding and KYC skills
