CONTRACT BANK BUSINESS ANALYST

Job Description:

As a Project Manager is required to provide guidance to the Operations team and to report to the Program Manager the state of projects within their scope.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Drive and deliver initiatives to improve the team’s delivery processes and methods
  • Ensure any operational change is implemented with full understanding of risks & control
  • Closely monitor progress of integration initiative through various approval steps (internal / external) as outlined in transition process
  • Work with SME’s to define and implement new processes and controls and ensure appropriate risk mitigation around any process migration / transition efforts
  • Develop project plans, milestones, risk/dependencies and associated MI reports or dashboards
  • Assist to develop and document end-to-end roles and responsibilities, including process flow, operating procedures, as well as the required controls
  • Drive issue resolution or options articulation around any problems or challenges that crop up in the course of execution of above initiatives
  • Process and provide ad-hoc support for requests from Front Office, Clients and other teams in GTO
  • Review the CTB charged expenses and support analysis to determine additional related spend, related budget process and requirements developments for 2017
  • Design and create PowerPoint designs for presentation, proposals
  • Use design skills to contribute ideas to make presentation of information more dynamic
  • Ensure experience gleaned and knowledge gathered from various projects is documented and shared across change team for leverage on other ongoing or future initiatives

Job Requirements: Essential Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Operations processes and/or as Project Manager in an financial services organization (preferably a tier 1 investment bank)
  • Strong analytical skills, able to demonstrate flexibility regarding problem solving
  • Strong visual skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other MS Office systems
  • Strong concept and design skills, an excellent eye for layout, ability to work fast
  • Able to identify and drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in tight deadlines fast-paced environment
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communicator
  • Able to work as part of a virtual global teams and in a matrix organization
  • Advanced knowledge in MS products (MS Office)
  • Pro-active and able to drive regional agenda to link into global initiatives
  • Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to colleagues
  • Strong organizational/project management skills; ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferable Skills:

  • Debt product trade support, middle office or settlement experience. Fixed Income product preferred

Education/Qualifications:

  • Business Finance, Economics or equivalent degree
