This role sits within the Client Offboarding (KYC) workstream and is part of a large programme of process control improvements to the regulators.
The core objectives of this stream of work (Client Offboarding) are to:

  • Maintain a comprehensive project plan detailing various deliverables including process enhancements, control framework, MIS and target operating model as well as ensuring prioritisation is obtained and maintained throughout
  • Work across a large stakeholder landscape (Business, Operations, Compliance, Project Teams) to ensure corporate buy-in to support delivery
  • Assist in the design and implementation of an effective and efficient offboarding process for the APAC region
  • Run effective discussion forums and individual meetings on a regular basis to ensure prioritisation and stakeholder engagement are maintained across all 14 APAC branches and centrally into London, New York and Frankfurt
  • Be responsible for ensuring delivery timelines are managed and delivered against, evidencing achievement with appropriate artefacts
  • Report delivery progress and raise issues/risks


  • This role is to act as Business Analyst for the Project Mercury Client Offboarding workstream, based in Singapore under Client Data Services, reporting to the Regional Project Lead
  • The role will liaise regularly with teams based across multiple branches and will be required to influence across a wider Global organization
  • The candidate will bring their experience and understanding of Process improvement methodology to the fore, and at the same time bring project management discipline and structure to ensure sustainable benefits are achieved
  • Frequent interaction with senior management gives the candidate high responsibility and visibility

Job Requirements:

  • Subject matter expertise in client lifecycle management or KYC preferred
  • Project management qualifications or experience or Lean/Six Sigma
  • Consultancy experience
  • Min 2 years Business Analyst experience
  • Banking Operations experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and create recommendations
  • Focused on driving and delivering results; self-motivated
  • Good with people – able to listen, handle and resolve tensions, influence decision making and culturally aware
  • Able to facilitate and lead workshops or working groups, and check activities against promises/commitments
  • Good verbal and written communications skills across all levels (including good process flow diagram, presentation preparation and delivery skills)
  • Team player, knows how to build his/her own network
  • Extensive familiarity and understanding of operational process flows across multiple team
  • Solid Excel skills and experience of handling data spreadsheets diligently

Salary: $7,000 Per Month
