HR GENERALIST (BANKING)

Main responsibilities:

Ø  Assists in the daily administering and executing of HR plans/activities.

Ø  Provide HR Services and support.

 

Recruitment

Assist HRBP in all recruitment matters including:-

  1. Implementation of HR strategies for attracting, developing, motivating and retaining talents
  2. Manage manpower planning and requests from business lines.
  3. Recruitment and sourcing of candidates.
  4. Scheduling of appointments.
  5. Prepare source documentation needed for new hires, or effective changes in pay, status, or benefits.
  6. Handle on-boarding and off-boarding process
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with universities and other recruitment sources.
  8. Participate in career fairs.
  9. Simulate net-tax income and facilitate relocation of expatriate/secondee from home country.
  10. Application of work pass via EP online.
  11. Application of MAS approval for senior personnel.

Employee Relations

  1. Responsible for all human resources activities to include employment and labour relations.
  2. Provide HR advisory to employees on staff benefits and co-ordinate the resolution of specific policy-related enquiries.

Others

  1. Assist in the implementation of global, regional and local HR projects.
  2. Handling issues and inquires when necessary.
  3. Providing assistance in monitoring employee files, HR filing system, performance appraisal process.
  4. Process claims relating to HR benefits.
  5. Recommend and develop procedural / automation improvements within HR.
  6. Requisition of stationary and other admin task.
  7. Ensure Intranet/ handbooks are up-to-date.
  8. Back up for other HR colleagues during their absence.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or its equivalent in other business related field.
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years' experience in a human resources generalist role, preferably in financial service industry.
  • Analytical and possess problem solving skills
  • Ability to motivate and work with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office functions (Words, Excel and Powerpoint presentation)
