Responsibilities:
(1) Transfer Agency & Investor Services
- Onboarding& AML/KYC: Maintain and update the investor register; review subscription documents and perform Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC)compliance checks.
- Capital Transactions: Process investor subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, capital calls, and distributions accurately within the registry system.
- Investor Reporting: Generate and distribute monthly/quarterly investor statements, contract notes, and tax reporting documents.
- Query Management: Act as a primary point of contact for investor and custodian inquiries regarding account balances, transaction processing, and reporting.
(2) Fund Accounting & NAV Production
- NAV Calculation: Assist in the end-to-end production of daily, weekly, or monthly Net Asset Values (NAV) for assigned funds.
- Journal Entries & Reconciliations: Post operational journal entries (including cash movements, trade executions, management fees, and custody fee payments).Reconcile bank accounts and broker positions against custodian records.
- Market Data Processing: Source and verify daily asset pricing and institutional FX rates (via Bloomberg BFIX / WM Refinitiv) to ensure accurate portfolio valuation.
- Audit Support: Assist in preparing year-end financial statements, working papers, and data schedules for external auditors.
Job & Personal specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline. 3–5 years of experience within Fund Administration, Global Custody, or Asset Management, explicitly encompassing exposure to both Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency.
- Hands-on experience with core accounting systems –Multifonds platform is a major advantage.
- Strong Excel skills familiarity with SQL is a major plus.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, FX spots/forwards) and fund structures (Mutual Funds, UCITS, or Alternative/Hedge Funds).
- Strong understanding and practical application of KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering) procedures, FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act), and CRS (Common Reporting Standard).
- Experience with investor due diligence checks and PEP screening.
- Awareness of relevant fund regulations (e.g., UCITS Directive, AIFMD for Europe, SGX -SG listed Fund).
- Fluent in both spoken and written English, with strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese preferred to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Salary: $7,000 Per Month
