CONTRACT TREASURY OPERATION OFFICER, BANKING

Job Responsibilities
  • Acts as an escalation point between the Business and the Service Centre, and helps to resolve issues related to RTB activities.
  • To actively contribute to ‘Straight Through Processing’ initiatives and work-flow engineering
  • To ensure procedures as outlined in Key Operating Procedures (KOP) and any Operations Manuals / Policies are reviewed, documented and adhered to.
  • To ensure all queries from Branches are dealt with in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide support to resolve time critical or complex tasks raised by the Service Centre and Business Partners.
  • Monitor the performance and provide support to our colleagues and teams in Service Centre who manages the run-the-bank activities.
  • Preparing of management information reports and ad hoc regulatory reports.
  • Participate in local and regional initiatives, system changes and perform UAT as required by the Regional Product management. Partners with Technology experts to deliver ongoing process and systems enhancement. Provide SME knowledge and work with GT/CTB teams across the bank to deliver on regional and global projects (if required).
  • Provide coverage during staff absenteeism within the team and APAC Treasury Ops to ensure there are no operational risks and any gaps are fully covered
  • Manage the Regional Product meeting and Performance Review meetings of Service Centre.
 
Job Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent working knowledge of Money Market products and/or Nostro Funding activities.
  • Good knowledge of front office (Kondor+) and back office (Wallstreet) systems
  • Good understanding of the end to end processes, predominantly in Settlements area
  • Open minded, able to share information, knowledge and expertise with peers and team members
  • Experience in managing system outages and follow-up actions from an Operations perspective
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizes responsibilities, and escalates issues as necessary
  • Strong team player, proactive, problem solver, to work on own initiative with the ability to multi task
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex issues in a precise and succinct manner
  • Good problem-solving capability with the ability to recognize areas that require improving and instigate necessary changes

Expected Salary: $6,000 - $8,000 Per Month
