Overview of business area or project:

APAC Treasury Coverage

Core functional department within Group Treasury organization alongside Planning and Execution functions

Global mandate:

• Create and lead, join forums to focus on Client and Partner requirements (liquidity, funding, FX risk, regulatory change, ongoing supervision) and ensuring close coordination with Planning and Execution teams
• Clients & Partners include forums and groups such as Board of Directors, Finance COO, Capital Management Group, Tax, Financial Accounting, various regulators and Central Banks
• Represent Treasury on governance committees involving planning and execution responsibilities
• Manage dialogue with internal and external stakeholders on Treasury matters

Key Responsibilities:

• APAC Treasury Coverage
• Support for delivering against the APAC Treasurer’s strategic objectives
• Support in core functional areas encompassing Funds Transfer Pricing, Treasury P&L oversight, Asset Liability Management, New Business/Change and Business Management
• Co-ordination of regular updates for Global Treasury management
• Assistance with updates for APAC governance forums chaired by Treasury
• Support for regulatory inspections and reviews as required
• Support in firm-wide/Treasury strategic projects

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand, assess & convey complex issues in a straight-forward and concise manner
• Pro-active with ability to see multiple tasks through to completion
• Strong interpersonal skills, effective collaborator
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Investment banking and/or private banking business knowledge preferred
• Basic understanding of banking industry, markets and core Treasury operations

Salary: $9,000 Per Month
