CONTRACT FINANCIAL, REGULATORY AND REPORTING ANALYST (BANK)

Financial and Regulatory Reporting is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of complete and comprehensive financial and regulatory reporting and analysis, for their area, in line with applicable internal policies and external regulatory, statutory and control frameworks.

Work includes:

  • The new hire will join the Local Regulatory team in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of regulatory reports submitted to the Monetary Authority of Singapore, as well as in the internal reports used for monitoring compliance with local rules and regulations. In addition to regular day-to-day reporting functions, the team also participates in projects for system and process improvements.
  • As part of the job, the team keeps abreast of developments in local reporting requirements for foreign banks and merchant banks incorporated in Singapore. The team is involved in providing feedback to the MAS on regulatory proposals; and provides consultation to Bank units on business proposals from the local regulatory perspective.
  • Managing accounting and financial risk and providing advice and guidance on strategic initiatives (driven by internal policies and/or external regulation) and new products that impact the entities /processes /utilities with their remit.
  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to provide comprehensive financial reporting and analysis and representing their respective function in relevant internal and external for a.
  • Developing innovative business solutions and providing strategic advice and guidance to support the execution of business strategy, mitigation of risks and achievement of the bank’s/regions’/Division’s objectives.

Additional Details:

Additional support is also required support the testing required for the migration project, UAT testing for the CRs when implemented and to support the migration of a new MAS report from excel format to XML.

 

Job Requisites:

  • Degree in Accountancy, with approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Direct experience in local reporting role is advantageous, however, candidates who are willing and able to learn are welcome to apply.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand and ensure compliance with local reporting requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft software, especially in Excel.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Salary: $7,000 Per Month
