Summary of the position:

  • Liaison Officer with Platform, Relationship manager and clients
  • Related to Import and export letter of credit
  • Able to support Team Lead whenever is necessary



Main responsibilities:

1) Manage Operational risks

  • Ensure that transactions are processed within turnaround time;
  • Perform any sanction screening if required


2) Provide good customer service

  • Maintain same day processing
  • Provide appropriate technical advice to customers and Relationship Managers


3) Business continuity

  • Provide backup whenever is required.


Main duties details:

  • Review LC and contacting customers to clarity on ambiguous terms
  • Ensure that transactions are processed in conformity with conditions
  • Ensure transactions posted to platform with correct instruction.
  • Monitor/trace and ensure transactions are processed within SLA
  • Perform any sanction controls as per procedures


Secondary duties details:

  • Backup team mates if required
  • Involve in cross training within the department
  • Involve in any projects being assigned by department head



  • Min 3-5 years’ experience in trade banking
  • Knowledge of UCP rules, ISBP 745, ISP98, URDG, URC, URR rules and incoterms rules
  • Candidate with CDCS qualification will have added value
  • Good communication and internal personal skills
